The brand name FUSO was originally used in 1932 with the first bus “B46” from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. On the occasion of the delivery of the B46 bus to the first customer, the Japanese Ministry of Railways, the company’s employees were asked to suggest a nickname. Finally, “FUSO” was chosen from among the suggestions. Fusō is an old name for Japan.
In Kenya, Simba corp has been taking care of FUSO franchise since 2001 and sold more than 17,000 units in the past 10 years. In 2018, we proudly introduced the new FUSO generation model FI to the customers and the model contribute to the Kenyan economy via FUSO end-users.
